If you've seen the fun that some people have on the dance floor and wished that you knew a few moves, then come along to Come Out Swinging group classes. We'll have you dancing with more confidence after only a few short lessons.
The weekly classes are a good physical and mental workout as well as being an enjoyable and relaxed social occasion for everyone. There are always new people to meet and Swing Dancing attracts people from all ages and walks of life.
How Can I Learn
to Swing Dance?
Drop-in classes are held in Albany on Tuesday nights. Just come along any week you would like to start (there's no need to book).
Don't worry if you don't have a partner as we rotate people throughout the class. They are suitable for complete beginners and will cover the foundations to get you moving on the dance floor.
The classes are also a great way for dancers who have done some Swing before to revise and practise the basics. You will also be learning new moves as each class is different.
Private lessons allow you to learn at your own pace. The individual attention means more rapid progress and a thorough understanding of dancing.
They are available for singles, couples or small groups and are a great way to get started.
Weekend workshops with guest instructors are held in the Great Southern during the year. See the Home page for details.
